Passing thru from Cincy and stopped for lunch. Wanted good wings and Beef on Weck but wanted to avoid going into Buffalo. And boy, I'm so glad we did! Classic dive bar with great service and super yummy food. Best wings I've had, ever! I ordered the "Jambo" wings, the bartender said it was the most popular. She did not steer me wrong. I will be thinking about these until next time! Hubs got the med buffalo wings and they were outstanding. The blue cheese is drinkable. Great stop! Worth a repeat next time we pass by!

Great food, really cool tavern, excellent service! I'm so happy that my friends and I stopped here for dinner while staying at the local Peak N Peak Resort. This tavern has a very "local" feel but we did not feel Unwelcome as tourists. The food was super good, we all left so full and it was very inexpensive!
Best place around great food and booze. old school local vibe and can't beat there prices. pool shuffleboard and juke box. I could go on and on but this place rocks!
Came here often as kids and always remember loving it. We went for dinner on a recent visit "home" and French creek didn't disappoint!!! The wings are absolutely phenomenal, crispy and sooo tastey. Highly recommend the cranch wings! Criss cross fries and onion rings were great as was the fried zucchini. A little rough with our waitress up front as she didn't seem happy to be there but ended up fine. Everyone else was nice and friendly. This place hasn't changed in 30+ years and that's the charm of it!
I have been coming to the FCT since 1980. The place hasn't really changed and that's what I love about it. The staff/service is great! Lots of choices at the bar and the food is awesome. I recommend the wings (hot) blue cheese and a side of fries. The Pub Burger or Fish Fry won't disappoint. You really can't go wrong with any choice. Stop by, grab a beer at the bar and a snack or sit at a table with friends and/or family and make some memories.
First off, this is a REAL tavern! The only thing missing is the silver bands of cigarette smoke hanging over the bar. I LOVED IT! I LOVE a real tavern! We started with Findlay's Fireballs - these are deep fried jalapeño cheese bites that you dip in honey mustard. Perfect bar food and SO good! After a few beers, I got the Tavernburger with a side of sweet potato fries. Again...PERFECT BAR FOOD! It's a ground sirloin burger on a hoagie roll... SO good! It was a great lunch with beers...I miss the days of the corner bar for lunch, but this place brings it back around!
Definitely worth a special trip for the wings, cold beer, and throwback vibe. Get the wings, seriously, ask for crispy wings with medium sauce, just the right amount of heat. Our service has always been good. The only bummer is the sauce rule. On a 32 price bucket customers would appreciate the option to get two flavors.
A true gem in the Southern Tier. Staff is super friendly and courteous. Even if it's your first time, they make you feel right at home. Food is absolutely delicious and some of the best wings I've ever had, and I've had a lot!!! Lol. It's not too far off I-86 and very close to Peak & Peak resort in the middle of Amish Country. We have made this a regular stop on our way home from Chautauqua Lake area and look forward to eating here. It's a little pricey, but I feel it's well worth it.

Stopped here a couple of times while on a ski trip at the Peak. Staff were friendly, food was very good, prices very reasonable. The liquor store is in the back.
